About
Gena Kagermanov (1990) is a documentary photographer and a writer based in Brussels, Belgium. He grew up in the Caucasus region before moving to Belgium in 2000.
Kagermanov's main field of interest is mainly to be found in the post-Soviet political landscape and migration. His work questions identity building and narrative strategies in transitional societies. Choosing the documentary approach, his photographic work deals with the question of representation and ethics.
